Émile Berchmans

Émile Berchmans (1867 Liège – 1947 Brussels) was a Belgian painter, draughtsman, lithographer and book-illustrator.

Berchmans trained in Liège since 1882. He decorated the ceilings of the theatres in Liège, Verviers and the cupola of St. Michael's in Aachen. He founded the periodical "Caprice" and also made drawings for the Parisian periodical "La Plume".
